Abstract: “This paper describes a Big Data Platform that we developed in order to fulfill the needs of an international development project we recently were involved in. The focus is on the technical aspects in terms of design and architecture of this platform, as well as on particular decisions/orientations we made to accommodate the constraints characterizing Big Data Systems.”
