The issues at hand and their urgent nature require that we raise the following topics: an overview of the mechanisms of insurance protection when indemnifying the consequences in the event of environmental risk occurrence; outlining the advantages and disadvantages of the two organisational and legal forms of environmental pollution liability insurance; defining the problems and guidelines for development of the type of insurance in question.”
