THE IMPACT OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT ON NIGERIA ECONOMIC GROWTH (1970-2014)

Abstract: This paper estimates the impact of FDI on Nigeria economic growth using time series data during the period 1970- 2014.The results show that FDI exerts a positive impact on Nigeria economy during the period under review affirming the a priori economic expectation of a positive correlation existing between FDI and growth.
