1. RESEARCH ON COLLEGE STUDENTS' DEVELOPMENTAL ASSETS, CAREER ADAPTABILITY AND CAREER SELF-EFFICACY

Abstract: This study employed a questionnaire to investigate 497 college students across Taiwan to explore the relationship among developmental assets (DA), career self-efficacy (SE), and career adaptability (AL). And it found that: DA has a significant and positive impact on AL and SE. AL has a significant and influence on SE. Through the mediating role of AL, DA can affect SE. And the influence of internal assets on college students is prominently greater than that of external assets.

Abstract: Architecture education, have not changed over years, and this would be its greatest fear. Current teaching pedagogies in architecture education have been criticized by academia, industry and public as the graduates are unable to meet the society and industry demands. Architecture instructors often pay more attention to physical models and drawing produced by students rather than the students experience of real life engagements with external communities.Moreover, the students hardly experience the real life projects thus their learning experiences are limited. Various literatures have reported on students enhanced learning experiences in academic service-learning projects with real community partnerships. 4. THE EFFECT OF TAX KNOWLEDGE, REWARD, AND ENFORCEMENT STRATEGIES ON SMES TAX COMPLIANCE BEHAVIOR [

Abstract: This research is aimed at providing empirical evidence on the effect of tax knowledge, reward, and enforcement strategies on SMEs tax compliance. Small and Medium Enterprises(SMEs) tax compliance on the islands of Bali and Lombok is low due to the imbalance between their low tax revenue contribution with the percentage of the total SME registered to entire business that reached ± 97%. This study is quantitative research using primary data. Using purposive sampling,this study selects 201 SMEs that are located in Bali and Lombok island as samples.The examination uses the multiple regression analysis.The study suggests that, except the deterrence approach of enforcement strategies, all independent variable used in this study have the positively significant correlation on SMEs tax compliance level.

5. THE IMPACT OF CORPORATE NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT ON INSIDER TRADING: EVIDENCE FROM THE STOCK EXCHANGE OF THAILAND

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine insider trading behavior reaction to news announcement by using firms listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). The results show that the information content are significant to insider buys but not to insider sells. In other words,only insider buys are associated with abnormal returns. However, corporate news disclosures greatly impact insider sells. Trading before good news announcement shows significant abnormal return for both sells and buys, specifically, insider buys prior to good news significantly impact on stock prices.

7. ROLE OF WTO IN BALANCING TRADE, ENVIRONMENT, PUBLIC HEALTH AND SOVEREIGNTY

Abstract: This paper examines the role of World Trade Organization (WTO) in balancing the nexus between trade liberalization, environmental protection, public health safety and sovereignty. The paper analyses seven WTO cases by analyzing the cases on US-Gasoline, US-Shrimp, US- Clove Cigarettes, ECAsbestos,Australia-Tobacco Plain Packaging,Australia-Apples,Canada- Pharmaceutical Patents which were lodged to Dispute Settlement Body in various grounds of trade restrictions. This study considers the legal elements of GATT/WTO ‘exceptions’ to non-discrimination principles with regards to health concerns(human, animal, plant) and evaluate its interpretation and practical scope of application in the WTO cases. A cautious analysis of the rulings reveals that governments may pursue environmental and health goals if they do not discriminate among their trade partners and can provide scientific support for their regulations.

8. SERVICE FACTORS INFLUENCING DECISION MAKING OF UNIVERSAL SERVICE OBLIGATION (USO NET) A CASE STUDY OF CHONBURI PROVINCE THAILAND

Abstract: The research aims to study factors influencing decision making of Universal Service Obligation (USO NET) in Chonburi province. A random sample of 400 was selected from a population of 400 people who live in Khna Pra Doo District,Klong Tum Roo, Mung Knong Preu Mueng District, Huay Yai,Bang Pra District. The results reveal that the sample was female counted as 57 percent, age 31-40 years counted as 27 percent,vocational school diploma counted as 28.75 percent, monthly income 10,001-20,000 baht counted as 51.0 percent, married counted as 49.25 percent, farmers counted as 22.25 percent, 2-4 family members counted as 55 percent, and distance from USO NET 501-900 meters counted as 27.5 percent. The respondents show most interests in the significance of USO NET in their family and community. The hypothesis results show that personal factors had an influence on decision making of USO NET in Chonburi province regarding different life styles and necessity in using the Internet.

10. CORRECT POSTURE OF HUMAN BEINGS FOR PAIN REDUCTION USING EMG SIGNALS

Abstract: Pain is an unpleasant feeling, which causes discomfort and can range from mild to chronic. It can be due to physical and emotional experience. About 80 % of adults experience low back pain (LBP) at some point in their lifetimes.The purpose of this study is to record the sEMG signals of the human back to enlighten the correct posture to be maintained to reduce pain due to the different occupations, especially in the low back region. The spine especially lumbar vertebrae are considered as major elements to diagnose the lower back problems. These lower back disorders are mainly caused due to the various dynamic stresses developed by the compression of the lumbar vertebrae. Surface electrodes were used to record EMG of lower back, in the forward and backward direction from Yaxis,placed at different positions of vertebrae of the lumber region to have a view on the stress level of muscles involved in the movement.
