1. INTERFERENCE PROBLEMS AND TECHNIQUES OF SPECTRUM SHARING IN GEO-STATIONARY SATELLITE SYSTEMS

Authors: MUHAMMAD IRFAN

Abstract: The radio frequency spectrum used in Geo-Stationary Satellite System is limited in extent and the most useful parts of it are over- crowded. The rising demand for communication channels has led to increased number of Geo-Stationary satellite systems in the space for expanding the communication links and maximizing bandwidth to get higher quality particularly for mobility. This increase has introduced the interference problems with space and terrestrial services. Internationally applied strategy to resolve the problem of interference is based on System Filing and Frequency Coordination. System filing is a process of registering satellite system with International Telecommunication Union (which is an international regulatory body) in order to secure orbital locations along with Frequency Bands for satellite operators. The second most important part is Frequency Coordination which is a key activity in order to avert the frequencies of a satellite network from causing harmful interference

2. FOURIER TRANSFORM AND DISTANCE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION: NEW INSIGHTS INTO DATA ANALYSIS

Authors: SHIV KUMAR SINGH

Abstract: We revisit the standard procedure for analyzing the static light intensity curves I(q) measured in scattering from chemical/biological samples as done in the literature. By utilizing some algebraic properties of Fourier integrals we show that; i) the theoretical forward intensity I(0) extracted via the Glatter/Moore algorithm must be consistently higher than all peaks occurring in the input I(q) curve ; ii) the attenuated oscillations of input I(q) data at intermediate q may be a direct consequence of the presence of a bump in the output distance distribution profile P(r) ; iii) if the input intensity is modified by the Gaussian damping factor exp (-Kq2) then extrapolation of the output results down to K = 0 is liable to become numerically unstable ; and iv) due to the exp (-Kq2) artifact the output distance distribution function profile may exhibit a bump having the correct location but wrong width if K is nonzero.

3. RFID ELECTRICAL POWER METER

Authors: LAI TIAN FAT , SURENDRAN BALAN

Abstract: This paper presents a RFID Electrical Power meter that can effectively used for energy budget and energy saving. The paper presents the meter in general concept and shows some experimental works carried out to test the meter. Electricity usage record also will be shown using RFID electrical power meter.

Keywords: RFID Electrical Power Meter, electricity usage, energy saving
