1. COMPUTER-SUPPORTED LEARNING: A TEACHING AID FOR ECE STUDENTS

Abstract: The use of computer hardware and software in education and training is a long established practice. In this work, an educational software is developed as a computer-supported tool to assist students' learning. Software engineering aspects are emphasized during the development, for the product to be simple and user friendly such that it can be used by all targeted students. In addition, the package is open for future expansions. Emphasis is paid to implementing solutions for issues that students face difficulties in understanding. The developed software system is provided with a database for many courses of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. For the purpose of evaluation, number of students have used the software. Those students express a noticeable interest and benefit.

2. PERCEPTIONS OF TEACHERS OF NIGERIA CERTIFICATE IN EDUCATION (NCE) AWARDING INSTITUTIONS OF THEIR INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY COMPETENCIES IN BAUCHI STATE

Abstract: This study highlighted the concept and applications of ICT in education. The justification of carrying out the research was looked into. The design of the study was a survey method to receive a great deal of information from a large group of individuals and also for the avoidance of major errors. The study employed all the teachers in the NCE awarding institutions in Bauchi state as the population (N=582). Proportionate cluster sampling technique was used to obtain the sample size of 58 respondents. A questionnaire was used to gather the information. And it has under gone face and content validation. Simple mean statistical tool was used in the analysis of data. The findings indicated that the teachers’ adequacy in Technology Operations and Concepts at Proficient Stage was adequate but the Technology Operations and Concepts at Advanced Stage was inadequateand also Ethics and Safety and Teaching and Learning with Technology (Proficient and Advanced Stages) were inadequate.

3. A SHORT MODEL OF PROFESSIONAL LEARNING PRACTICE OF PROJECT 2: ENGLISH CONVERSATION FOR BEGINNERS

Abstract: This research is a series of major research: A model of professional learning practice for 21st century learners, focusing on English language learning. There are seven English development projects to be used as a tool to investigate how 21st century learners practising learning English in various courses. The projects are the followings: project1. How to write an abstract, project2. English conversation for beginners, project3. English conversation for intermediate level, project4. English conversation for advanced level, project5. Standardized test, project6. English conversation for Engineering students, and project7. Job application. The aims of this research were to investigate how 21st century learners learning to practice learning and to provide a short model of professional learning practice through an English course: English conversation for beginners. 4. EFFECTS OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY ON PHYSICAL FITNESS, COGNITION AND SELF-CONCEPT

Abstract: Using the reciprocal and the command ‎teaching styles in physical education classes in middle schools showed improvements in psychomotor, cognitive and emotional domains. ‎Subjects were 240 middle school students. They were randomly selected and assigned to an experimental group taught by reciprocal style and control group taught by the command style. Variables consisted of four physical and motor skills; two cognitive; and three emotional measures. A ‎physical education program lasted ten weeks were conducted on the subjects. Results showed that the experimental group was superior on the control group. It was ‎concluded that reciprocal teaching style was more effective in teaching physical ‎education classes than the command teaching style.‎

Simply put, it is a case, which you see in your text at the end of every chapter. That case was put together by someone like you, by a professor, or by a case writer. They just reported a real, current situation of some business with a past history, problem, issue, and concern. What a writer wants from the reader is a solution to the problem proposed. If somebody can write a case, there is no reason that you cannot.

8. FACTORS AFFECTING THE ACADEMIC RESULT OF STUDENTS OF MASTERS DEGREE PROGRAM IN MUMBAI, INDIA

Abstract: Knowledge is power. Teachers give us Knowledge, hence teachers give us power”. Our education system is the backbone of country’s growth and success. A study was carried out to understand various aspects and forces which are related to the students, faculty related, exam related factors and other factors which have a direct and indirect influence on the students. The study was conducted at the suburban area of Mumbai region in India with the sample size of 100 respondents to check the normality of the data. A normality test is carried out on demographic variable of the respondents. The mean score is used for analyzing the data and chi-square test is used for statistical approval of hypothesis. After carrying out the study it was noticed that the results of the students not only depend on one factor but also multi factors which were related to the students, faculty as well as exam.
